Open Science and Data Sharing
Abstract
This talk will present the pillars of and rationale for Open-Science. We will discuss the important characteristics of Big Biomedical Data and challenges with sharing sensitive information. At the end, we will review some case-studies illustrating applications to neurodegenerative disorders, autism research, and population census-like neuroscience discovery.
