SOCR Project - Extending the SOCR Fourier and Wavelet Games
Project Goals
The goal of this project is to extend the SOCR Fourier and Wavelet games to allow loading, processing and analyzing audio files. Currently, the Fourier and Wavelet games only allow user input of time-series signals on a canvas using the mouse. The extended Fourier and Wavelet games will enable the user to load in audio files (e.g., mp3 files) and dynamically process the audio signal in real time. This would show the time-signature of the audio file on the top panel and the bottom panel will show the dynamic Fourier or Wavelet signal representation subject to the thresholding parameters specified by the user.
