SOCR News & Events: MIDAS GDSC Program Graduation Event 2022
Logistics
- Event Date/Time: April 15, 2022, 17:00 - 18:30 (US Eastern Time)
- Location: MIDAS Suite, 6-th Floor of Weiser Hall, University of Michigan, 500 Church Str., Ann Arbor, MI 48109
- Format: In-person event
- RSVP (required by April 5, 2022): preregistration is required for participation (space capacity is limited to 30)
- Contacts: Ivo Dinov, James Walsh, or Kristen Thornton
- Food will be provided
- Event Flyer.
Outline
- All GDSC Program Students are invited to participate
- 2022 Graduating GDSC students (MS/PhD) are strongly encouraged to participate
- MIDAS Faculty are invited (Shedden, Gonzalez, Dinov, and others are confirmed)
- Congratulate of our cohort of 2022 GDSC Program graduating students
- As requested by trainees (see RSVP), provide resume reviews, mock interviews, and career advising.
RSVP
All GDSC Program Winter 2022 graduates, continuing students, and MIDAS faculty are strongly encouraged to RSVP Form and Participate in this event.
Graduation Exit Survey
All GDSC Program graduating students are strongly encouraged to:
- Complete the Exit-Survey, which is linked to on the GDSC Page,
- Stay in touch with the program by monitoring the website and sharing news about their career advances via email (statistics -at- umich.edu).
- All GDSC graduates are always welcome to visiting to campus in the future (e.g., during Homecoming days), offer to mentor and advise current and future GDSC students, and offer to recruit current and future trainees.
