This is an activity to find the probability of winning the game of craps.
Open http://www.socr.ucla.edu/htmls/SOCR_Experiments.html and use the scroll bar to find the Craps Experiment. Once you find it, click on the About button and read about the experiment. There are different versions of the game but we will use only the first one "pass" which th probability that player wins. Below you can see the result of a single run of the experiment.
Answer the following questions:
a. Run the experiment once, take a snapshot and print it. Explain what \( X, Y, U, V, N, W \) represent.
b. Run the experiment 100 times and take a snapshot. Describe what you see.
c. Find the probability that the sum of 5 appears before the sum of 7 (you need to do this by hand and show all your work).
b. What is the expected value of \( W \)?
