SOCR News & Events: BIG DATA Analytics in Health Care Session | Re-Imaging Health Symposium, Brock University
The Re-Imaging Health Symposium will focus on a number of health topics and provide interactive training for health care practitioners, medical students, public health administrators, and health industry leaders.
The special session on BIG DATA Analytics in Health Care represents one of six sub-plenaries sessions. Presenters will deliver 6-minute sales pitches (rapid-fire talks) in advance of their presentations. The audience will base their attendance of a breakout section based specific analytics and health care topic and the rapid-fire sizzles.
The breakout section on Data Science Skills and SOCR Interactive Tools will provide self-guided learning modules, intuitive web-services, advanced analytical protocols, and powerful scientific visualization apps. The only prerequisites for the audience are (1) self-drive and high-doze of internal motivation, and (2) access to an modern device with high-speed Internet connection and a JavaScript-enabled browser. Participants are expected to leave with a substantial knowledge-base and a set of tools to interrogate complex biomedical and healthcare data.
