SOCR Datasets - Normal and Schizophrenia Neuroimaging study of Children

Data Overview

Children Neuroimaging Data

This is a neuroimaging study of childhood-onset schizophrenia. It uses automated volumetric data processing to obtain different volume measures of local anatomy for schizophrenia patients and age-matched normal controls. The goals of the study were to identify associations and relationships between neuroimaging biomarkers and various subject demographics and traits.

SOCR Charts and SOCR MotionCharts may be used to render dynamic visualizations of these data. SOCR Charts help is available here. SOCR Analyses (e.g., Multivariate Regression Analysis, ANOVA, etc.) may be used to fit models and quantitative assessment of relations between different variables.   • DX: Subject diagnosis (Normals=1; Schizophrenia=2)
  • Sex: Subject gender (Male=1; female=2)
  • FS_IQ: Subject Intelligence Quotient (IQ)
  • TBV: Total Brain Volume (\(mm^3\))
  • GMV: Total Gray Matter Volume (\(mm^3\))
  • WMV: Total White Matter Volume (\(mm^3\))
  • CSF: Total Cerebrospinal Fluid (\(mm^3\))
  • Background: Background volume (\(mm^3\))
    • Note: The following represent the mean ranges for the global brain tissue types for normal adults in cubic centimeters.
