SOCR EduMaterials Activities Craps

This is an activity to find the probability of winning the game of craps.

Open http://www.socr.ucla.edu/htmls/SOCR_Experiments.html and use the scroll bar to find the Craps Experiment. Once you find it, click on the About button and read about the experiment. There are different versions of the game but we will use only the first one "pass" which th probability that player wins. Below you can see the result of a single run of the experiment.

Answer the following questions:

a. Find the probability that the sum of 5 appears before the sum of 7.

b. Find the probability that a player loses.

c. Find the probability of throwing the dice at least 4 times without getting a 7.
