SPIDER WEB CHART

Background

When displaying several different variables related to one item on a chart, the spider web or radar charts are often useful. These charts have multiple axes that allow different factors to be shown. In these types of charts, points closer to the center on any axes indicates low values and points further from the center indicate high values.

Note that in this demonstration, it allows five factors to be displayed on the chart with three different graphs. Below the graph is a set of numerical data.

Applications

One of the most persuasive elements when proposing data and literature to others is a well-designed chart presentation. Any one may use this application for comparing several values.

Suppose, investors want to see which stock is the best for investment. By creating a simple Spider Web Chart, the investors may easily graph more than one stock over a period of time having one common factor.
